first quarter 19th century, the elaborately scrolled and carved splash rail above a rectilinear top, the lotus-molded frieze containing three drawers, the pedestal cabinets displaying anthemions and pineapple pendants, raised on bracket feet.

In very good, approaching excellent polished and restored condition.
Tight and solid. No movement is discernible in the case. Drawers and doors operate smoothly.
There is a small shallow nick, about 1/8" in diameter to one of the scrolls in the backboard, and a finish scrub near it.
Lock sets for the doors are complete. Key is not present.
There is a ship to the molding on the bottom inside corner of one door. The loss, triangular in shape, is about 1/4" deep at its widest end, coming to a point over about an inch and three quarters.
Low on the panel of one side are a few areas of rough or lifted finish.
