24" x 18-1/8", framed 35-1/4" x 27-1/4"

Provenance: Sotheby's, New York, "Old Master and 19th Century European Art", January 29, 2010, lot 843; Private collection, Mobile, Alabama.
Condition
Not relined, but patch en verso corresponding to inpainting that appears to be from a "T"-shaped tear upper center (background and hair). Small scattered areas of inpainting lower center right (shoulder and dress); inpainting upper right corner. Surface dirt; toning of the varnish layer; surface abrasions along edges; upper right from contact with frame. Frame with surface marks, nicks and abrasions and a few small losses.
