WPA MUSEUM EXTENSION PROJECT INDIAN HUNTING SCENE WPA (works progress administration) District 5 museum extension product from 1930'. WPA created by FDR in 1935 to help the unemployed artists were hired to make things such as this. Scene is titled "Hunting Buffalo Arapaho" and features a Native American on horse back spearing a buffalo. Scene hand sculpted from clay, has a painted curved back board and a wood case with glass panels. ; Condition - Good condition. ; Measures: 8.5" H x 13.5" W x 10.25" D
