1937 Second Class Marksman Shooting badge. Measures 1 5/16 inches in diameter. The front has a bullseye at the center, surrounded by an oak leaf wreath. A pair of Waffen SS runes at bottom of wreath. Reverse is marked with a double pair of Waffen SS runes. Below marked "ges gesch." Thin vertical 'T' back style pin back with 'C' catch. One piece silver plated nickel construction. Included is an 8 X 10" reprint photograph of a Waffen SS NCO soldier wearing this type of badge. The German military term for this award was 'SS-Schutzenabzeichen'. Very good condition.
