(1924 – 2010) American political cartoonist and winner of three Pulitzer Prizes. In the span of a career lasting five decades, Conrad provided a critical perspective on eleven presidential administrations. He is best known for his work for the Los Angeles Times and his attacks on Nixon, which landed him on Nixon's "Enemies List". Original signed ink political cartoon for the Los Angeles Times, 1981, 7" x 8" (sight), likely published, depicts one daisy asking another: "When does life begin?", and receiving the response: "If you have to ask, you'll never understand!". Fine. Matted and framed.
