A collection of dozens of ancient carnelian seed beads, white paste glass seed beads, and larger faience and red paste glass beads, fashioned into a series of dangling charms hung from a modern gold-filled chain. Each of these beads was made to adorn funerary items for elite women in ancient Mesopotamia. Wearable! Length of chain: 18" L (45.7 cm)
