AMPHORA CHERUB BANQUET LAMP, cast-metal base with figural cherub stem holding font holder with cherub faces and ornate scrolling pattern, four-footed base with scroll and medallion motif, base with a copper finish, topped with a ball shade with shaded yellow to brown ground and floral decoration, period brass shade ring, slip chimney. Brass drop-in font which has been electrified through the central-draft tube and drilled at the base of the gallery. Edward Miller & Co. Late 19th/early 20th century. 31 1/4" HOA, 22" to top of shade ring, 6 3/4" SQ base. Shade 9 1/2"H, 4" D fitter.
Excellent condition overall with the shade and base being undamaged with some wear to the copper finish, font with some solder repairs, chimney with some light flaking to the rims. Base wobbles slightly and is not perfectly level, as made.
