**First Time At Auction**
Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Nayarit, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. An elegant red slipware vessel presenting a mesmerizing form comprised of compressed ribbed disc-shaped bodies, a more petite olla emerging from a larger one below. Both show gently sloped shoulders rising to softly flaring necks, the upper vessel with a more dramatically flared rim. All is upon a diminutive concave base. A lovely example with a gorgeous silhouette from this ancient shaft tomb culture. Size: 4.5" H (11.4 cm).
