Octagonal silver goblet for Passover [marked N-Nuremburg, but actually Hanau, with additional silver marks]. Hanau, 1900-1917.
The goblet's surface bears hammered work, and engravings of leaves, flowers and rocaille. Near the goblet's rim is the inscription: 'ולקחתי ××ª×›× ×œ×™ לע×' ['I took you for Me as a people'] from the verses regarding the four expressions of redemption. Round base.
Height: 13 cm. Fine condition.
