This lot consists of a hand-drawn mixed media (ink and watercolor) on translucent grid paper, signed "P. Neagu" at bottom. Image depicts an abstraction of some sort of string instrument (could be a zither) and a red-and-white sphere (perhaps a ball). The colors are vibrant and bold; pure in their tones and clean in their application. The paper that the art has been done upon is an interesting facet of the piece in and of itself. Translucent and gridded, it is light, almost airy, and has an interesting "floating" effect on the objects within the image. Done in the style of Paul Neagu (British-Romanian, 1938-2004). Piece measures approximately 11" x 13".
Overall: 13"H x 11"W - Image: 11"H x 9"W
