This lot consists of an engraving on paper HAND SIGNED "Edward Hopper" in the bottom right below the image with the addition number "V/XXX." The image depicts the South Truro Church done in the New Realism style of Edward Hopper (American, 1882-1967). The piece is a reverse image of Hopper's 1930 painting titled "South Truro Church." There is a indecipherable signature in the bottom right margin not affecting the image or signature. En verso, black ink smudges obscure an old, unreadable document. A blue, circular stamp bears the name of "Le Chat Noir - Galerie D'art." Overall fair condition with discoloration, creases, chips, and other signs of wear and age. Page measures approximately 9" x 13"
