From "Tales from Lemuria": "Once upon a time a pacific, prosperous and highly spiritual civilization lived on this Planet. Lemurians were aware that their world will be destroyed in the Great Flood . Trying to survive, some of them went to live underearth and others made the big vessels. They know that material things cannot resist the pass of time, so they left the message in the collective concious; the Great Flood occurs periodically, and will happen again. That knowledge lay somewhere in our mind, butÂ… can we remember the future?" This is a deluxe collection of 6 collector's special limited editions for "Image In Progress" magazine (Ed.1/15). Self taught photographer, Mitar Terzic has been interested in photography from an early age, professionally and as a hobby although his MSc. in Odontology. 5 years ago he took his photography more seriously and began to use medium-format film. His photography is based on imagination; he creates his stories and characters making all the props and attires by himself. Working exclusively with medium and large format analog photography, In the last 3 years he made 5 projects, published in many magazines, and had four solo exhibitions... "I believe that every artist sees himself reflected in his own work. My photography is based on imagination and I consider it as the perfect vehicle/way to to show that world of imagination to others. I invent stories and characters which I then build with paper or any other material. This creative process is complex and sometimes time consuming. Taking the photo is only the last step.?The themes that inspire me are influenced by many factors like literature, cinema, music, comic, etc. This mixture of these influencing factors is what leads to my creative and esthetic profile and is the source of my ideas and projects. I like to use black and white photography. The mere fact of reducing the colour spectrum to grey tones generates images with a high visual impact and leaves the observer more space for his own interpretation."
