Handwritten Letter of Recommendation from Rabbi Ozer HaCohen Fried, Av Beis Din of Tiszabercel , Son of the Pnei Meivinletter from Rabbi Ozer HaCohen Fried, Av Beis Din of Tiszabercel, son of Rabbi Nesanel HaCohen FriedIn his letter Rabbi Ozer profusely praises the family of a young man, whose uncle was a close disciple of Rabbi Yoel Tzvi Roth and is mentioned in his sefer Responsa Avnei Beis Hayotzer.Rabbi Ozer HaCohen Fried was the son of Rabbi Nesanel Fried of Balmazújváros, author of Pnei Meivin, and son-in-law of Rabbi Gershon Avraham Goldbar, Av Beis Din of Tiszabercel and author of Nachlas Hagershuni. He succeeded his father-in-law in the rabbinate and his novellae were published in the beginning of the sefer Pnei Meivin on the Torah and in Kisvei Eis. He was murdered in the Holocaust.
