Description
A detailed Egyptian faience amulet of Pataikos, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, standing nude on integral base, his features well-modeled and with well-preserved pale blue glaze. H: 1 1/8 in (2.8cm). Ex estate of Seward Kennedy, New York. Mr. Kennedy worked for decades as a lawyer for the Mobil Corporation, and acquired his collection throughout decades of travel beginning in the 1950's.
