Description
A lot of 3 ancient Egyptian scarabs. Lot includes a pair of New kingdom scarabs, c. 1570 - 1075 BC, one in blue faience with a large Ankh and feather of Ma'at, 14 x 11 mm, a steatite scarab with a falcon between an Ankh and feather of Ma'at, 14 x 11 mm, and a 3rd Intermediate faience scaraboid, c. 1075 - 664 BC, with reed handle and amuletic cartouche of Pharaoh Thutmose III, 'Men-Kheper-Re' on base, 21 x 14 mm. Ex Los Angeles private collection.
