19th century/early 20th century
the first a small pair of vases each painted with two roundels to show figures at various tasks in fenced gardens, interspersed with gilt highlighted shou characters, floral sprigs and ribbon-tied auspicious objects; the second a pair of lamps each of baluster form raised on a recessed stand, the body decorated with shaped reserves enclosing children at play, all set above a coral red ground with gilt flying bats and clusters of clouds, the stand decorated en suite.
Height 13 inches.
