The larger is a 17-1/2" girl with amber tinted bisque incised on back of head "1329 Germany Simon & Halbig S&H". She has brown glass sleep eyes, well-painted lashes and brows and an open mouth with four upper teeth, on the original fully jointed wood and composition body with original patina that matches the tint of the head very well. She wears a multi-colored Asian cotton print dress with a sparkling over vest and a replaced black human hair wig. The smaller doll is 9" tall and is a baby with glass sleep eyes, eye cuts that are at an angle, with slightly yellow-cream bisque with molded and painted black hair; the color is fired into the bisque. The baby is on a five piece bent limb baby body and wears a long white dress that comes to the ankles with a matching cotton and lace bonnet. Head is incised "5/0 Germany" and although not specified as Armand Marseilles, it is most likely made by them. There is some wear to the finish on the baby body. Condition: (Good). Dimensions: Largest: 17 - 1/2" T.
