Large and impressive unusual version of this doll with head incised in back "E 11 D", with blue glass bulging eyes, pierced earlobes, well-painted brows and lashes and different mouth with highlighted nostrils above outlined lips with the illusion of painted teeth between the closed lips. She has a double chin with a deep dimple in the center. Head is attached to what appears to be the original fully jointed wood and composition French body with mostly original patina. She has been well re-costumed in a beige and salmon taffeta dress with lace overlay and cloth braid trim. She has a very nice antique light brown human hair wig, no pate present, with primarily antique undergarments, socks, and nice brown leather shoes with ankle straps. The hat is a mop cap style, in a slightly more beige color than the dress. Typical paint wear to body in places, with some possibly retouching of the paint on the hands. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: Height: 27 - 1/4".
