French Gilt Bronze Ormolu Mounted Sevres Style Covered Porcelain Baluster Urn, 19th c., with gilt and apple green decoration, the ormolu handles mounted with seated putti, over a reserve of doves, flowers, a bird's nest, a bow and a quiver of arrows on one side, and a reserve of frolicking putti on the other side, to a bronze socle on a flaring green striped porcelain support, and a gilt bronze shaped square base with relief putto heads, H.- 28 1/2 in., W.- 12 in., D.- 9 in.
Condition consistent with age and use. Lid has rim chip ½ x 1 7/8”. Loss of gilt to bronze mounts and base. A lovely example.
