Ansonia Cast Iron and Patinated Spelter Open Escapement Double Figural Mantle Clock, c. 1880, the urn surmounted drum clock, time and strike, with an enamel chapter ring, flanked by figures of classical women representing Industry and Medicine, on a gilt incised iron base with gilt incised paw feet, H.- 21 in., W.- 25 1/2 in., D.- 9 1/2 in.

Condition

We do not test clocks for working order. Considerable wear to spelter finish. Loss at paint flecks to cast iron base. Rear door hinge detached from clock. No pendulum.
