Description
Pair of Bronze Cameroon male and female figures, attr. to Tikar. Both with arms extended and fingers spread, the male wearing a pierced full headdress (typical of Bamum cap) chests have raised circular elements, curved ear projections on both figures. Male: 9.5 in. H x 4.25 in. W x 2 in. D, Female: 9 in. H x 3.5 in. W x 2.75 in. D.
Condition
No damage to patina. Make shows signs of green buildup on back of head. Overall great condition. Property from a Southern California estate.
