Frost Fair broadside.- Anonymous (active 1739-1740) [Portrait of George II, half-length in an oval decorated with calligraphic initial, after Godfrey Kneller], broadside with engraved portrait and woodcut containing letterpress below, with printed name of 'Simeon Warner,' on laid paper with indistinct fleur-de-lis watermark, sheet 420 x 250 mm. (16 1/2 x 9 7/8 in), laid onto linen, handling creases and some splitting to old folds, one or two small areas of loss, surface dirt and browning, unframed, 'Printed upon the Ice, on the River Thames, January the 18th', 1739- 1740.
