Tibetan matchlock rifle or musket, 18th/19th century, carved black-painted wood with black-painted steel fittings, having a long curved trigger bar on the underside of the stock, and powder pan attached to the proper right side of barrel; the style influenced by the matchlock long-guns produced in India. Barrel: 40" L; overall: 54". Wear to paint and small losses to wood, consistent with age and use.
