Origin: Japan, circa 1800.
Dimensions: total length – 57 cm, blade's length – 43,2 cm, blade’s width 2,1 cm.
Blade: slightly curved single edged blade, with brass fitting near the tsuba. Maker’s hieroglyphs on the tang.
Hilt: Oval openwork tsuba. Wooden grip covered with ray skin and wrapped with black lining.
Scabbard: wooden scabbard with suspension loop.
Condition report: blade in very good condition, almost no traces of corrosion. Handle in very good condition, brass parts with patina, denser in indentations. Scabbard in good condition, some scratches and dents, some cracks.
