Origin: Russia, blade, rosettes of the hilt and upper scabbard fitting - 19th-20th century, the rest late 20th century.
Length 71,6 cm. Blade 54,3 cm x 5,1 cm.
Comes with a wooden case for keeping.
Blade: straight double edged blade with one deep and narrow fuller on both sides, pointy sharp tip. Caucasian inscriptions.
Hilt: richly decorated hilt, narrowing in the middle. Embossed floral ornaments and carved bone incrustations, niello. Two rosettes of the rivets are in gold.
Scabbard: wooden scabbard, covered with leather and metal. All scabbard is richly decorated with embossed floral motifs and niello, also openwork carved bone inlays.
Condition report: the blade in good condition, some traces of corrosion, wear off, scratches and dents. Part of inscriptions worn off. Cuts on edges. Hilt and scabbard quite new, with minor wear off and scratches, small cracks of the bone.
