A GROUP OF TWO WHITE GLASS CUT TO CRANBERRY GLASSES, comprising a Johann Oertel & Co. wine goblet in white glass cut to cranberry with ocular slice cuts centering a band of emerald slice cuts, with hand painted floral decoration, and gilt rim, raised on tapering faceted clear glass stem and terminating with gilt banded spreading foot, signed, Novy Bor, Czechoslovakia, circa 1940, height: 6 1/4", diameter: 3"; and a Bohemian wine goblet in white glass cut to cranberry, the bowl with alternating shaped panels of crosshatching and transfer printed landscapes with flowers, banded by gilt scrollwork on cranberry over three ocular slices, double clear faceted knops with gilt edges transition into trumpet form stem in white glass cut to cranberry and edged in gilding, the white cased spreading foot with scattered transfer printed rose bunches, height: 6 1/4", diameter: 3". Both pieces in overall good condition with no evidence of chips, nicks, or cracks; the second goblet with small areas of discoloration to the white glass, overall rubbing and wear to gilding commensurate with age and use.
