A FRENCH BOOK FORM FITTED TANTALUS, CIRCA 1920-1950, of rectangular form in imitation of a stack of four leather bound books with gilt spines and titles opening to red morocco lined interior and faux snakeskin wrapped holder, fitted with two molded crystal liquor decanters with press molded stoppers and four shot glasses, all with gilt trim, stamped in gilt "MADE IN FRANCE" on the top of the holder Height: 5 1/8" Width: 8 1/2" Depth: 5 1/4"


In overall fair to good used condition, with flaking of book bindings and rubbing to gilding; glass in good condition with no evidence of chips, nicks, or cracks.
