Description
Five Early Japanese Earthenware Pottery Vessels - Includes a spouted vessel 4 3/4” H; a cup with striations 2 3/8” H x 3 3/4” diameter; a roughly formed bowl 5 3/4” diameter; a coil-built pot with textile impression marks 4 1/4” H; and a small terracotta globular pot 3 1/4” H (some roughage to rim and a scuff along body). Condition: These are ancient items and will show wear consistent with age and use. Earthen deposits are present on each piece. Provenance: These items are from the estate of the South Florida Collector J.J. Schmidt Jr.
