1) WARTIME COMMERCIAL MODEL 1896. Cal. 30 Mauser. S# 89511. Parts assembled model w/ wartime commercial frame. Banner chamber marked receiver appears numbered 92,950 (partially legible), bolt 435, hammer 950, bolt stop 259, lock housing 92950, floorplate 693 & 17 groove grips 909. 50-1000 rear sight & 5-1/2" bbl. Mauser legend on right side of frame plus banner on chamber. Right side of bbl. has portion of British proof remaining. Sm. ring hammer. CONDITION: Good refinished appearance, yet very polished to point where frame grooves almost eliminated & areas of prior deep pitting remain. Floor plate unfinished w/ brown tone. Lock housing w/ plum tone. Patina hammer. Unfinished bolt stop, bolt & extractor. Good grips w/ minor handling marks. Poor to fair bore; very worn w/ even light pitting. (18-3027/NW). 2) POCKET MODEL 1914. Cal. 7.65mm (32 ACP). S# 434465. Similar to Model 1910 but w/ 3.4" bbl.; mfg. 1914-1934. Left side of slide w/ Mauser legend & matching S#; right side marked "MAUSER-7,65". Matching S# on bbl. & sideplate having Mauser banner. Smooth 1 piece grip. MAGS: fair stained & lightly oxidized 8 rd. w/ base electro numbered "4344652". CONDITION: good overall appearance w/ beginning patina on front strap & sideplate. Light high point wear & faint pinprick oxidation on bbl. plus portions of slide. Extractor w/ in the white appearance & cleaned faint pitting. Fair grips w/ wear, scuffs, dents & small chip at bottom of rear. Good bore w/ light wear & slight frosting. (18-3028/NW). BOTH CURIO. $650-1000 for lot.
