Cal. about 40. NSN. 63" Overall. 48" Oct. bbl. Gun is iron mounted other than 4 1/2" brass toeplate & German silver blade front sight. Ramrod tip is also brass but probably replaced. Top bbl. flat is marked "H.E. LEMAN LANCASTER, PA" & the lock is marked "RIGBY". 7" Long oval iron 2 piece patchbox reminiscent of guns made in southwest VA & TN. CONDITION: metal is dark overall being mostly brown/plum. Stock appears to be an old restock but mortises show a fair amount of soiling & may just be refinished showing little use. Lock appears to be original flint though both lock screws are replacements. Mechanically functional though set triggers could use some tuning up. Bore shows discernible rifling.
