Description
This lot features an original ca. 1900 Rookwood pottery vase. Marked on the bottom with the Rookwood logo stamp, roman numerals "IV", body style number "905D" and marked "W" to indicate this piece is glazed in the "Iris glaze". The Iris glaze is a clear glaze introduced by Rookwood in 1894. Excellent condition, very minor surface crazing. Vase stands approximately 8" tall. Provenance: Estate of N. Watlington.
