It was created for the Works Progress Administration of Ohio and is full of information and historical facts, with drawings of forts, settlements including wigwams, agricultural activities (plowing, harvesting, etc.) and lots of animals. Shown are both Native American and Europeans. The numerous insets show significant historical events and the locations of these events, including “Thomas Jefferson’s Conception for the Subdivision of the New West”.
