Torii Kiyonobu (Japan 1664-1729) Beautiful 18th century ukiyo-e print from , featuring court lady, wearing kimono with Hidari-mitsudomoe crest. The warm fall colors were typical of 18th century Japanese prints and denote an earlier work. The family crest featured on the dress was both fashion statement and identifier. Ukiyo-e prints often displayed fashion trends of the day. From the estate of a prominent NY professor and collector of Japanese art.
