This lot consists of a HAND PAINTED gouache on board, framed under glass, signed "Modigliani" at top left. Image depicts an attractive, dark-haired woman with elongated features and a placid smile on her face. Her bright blue eyes seem to glow amid a composition that is full of dark and moody tones. Stamps en verso read "Galeria del Milione", as well as, "Societa Per Le Belle Arti ed Espozione Permanente... Milan". Done in the refined, Modernist style of Amedeo Clemente Modigliani (Italian, 1884-1920). Framed piece measures approximately 20.25" x 24.25" / Sight = 15" x 20".
