A Third Reich Army Artillery NCO Dress Tunic in, overall, excellent condition. The tunic itself is constructed of a fine Italian gabardine material and lined with a greenish-brown rayon material. A few minor moth nips can be observed between the breast eagle and collar tab, right upper sleeve, and the obverse belt area. The collar is dark green and piped with a red trim, indicating a role in the artillery. The double litzen collar tabs are machine sewn to the collar. A silver tress has been machine stitched around the upper edge of the collar, signifying this soldier to be of a non-commissioned officer rank. Minor fraying of the litzen can be observed, but still rates in excellent condition. The near mint condition Heer breast eagle is embroidered with an aluminum bullion on a dark-green backing, and is attached to the tunic using a zig-zag stitch pattern. The Stabsfeldwebel (Sergeant Major) Artillery "sew-in" shoulder boards are in near mint condition. These shoulder boards are red piped, lined with a silver tress, and have three pips along with the cyphers "34" attached to them by prongs. The "34" ciphers indicate the 34th Artillery Regiment. The dark green cuffs of the tunic are decorated with two red piped single litzen, and a silver tress. The cuffs have a few minorl moth nips and minimal signs of wear. Eight, matching, silver Weimar era buttons are hand sewn down the front of the tunic for closure. The interior of the tunic shows a field repair on the right hand side near the sleeve. A small slit has been professionally cut into the tunics right hand side for a dagger hanger to slip through. The lower right of the tunics interior shows a "Gepruft" stamp of "8./A.R.34", which translates to "8th Battery, 34th Artillery Regiment". This interior stamp matches the unit ciphers on the shoulder boards, making the set complete. Condition: Dimensions:
