A superb necklace comprised of forty Viking-era glass beads, a thin sterling silver chain and lobster clasp, and a huge cast-bronze, ladder-form pendant consisting of two ribbed horizontal bars conjoined with five thin rectangular strips. Some of the glass beads have striated and multi-colored compositions, and others display beautiful areas of silvery and rainbow iridescence. Strung in modern times, this stunning piece of jewelry is wearable and quite chic!
