A hollow-formed gold ring comprising a keeled hoop, discoid bezel with inset garnet cloison, intaglio figure of Hermes with headdress and wings spread, advancing with a frond held by the knees. Cf. Rings: The Alice and Louis Koch Collection, volume I, Leeds, 1994, item 65. 12 grams, 22mm overall, 16.54mm internal diameter (approximate size British L 1/2, USA 6, Europe 11.87, Japan 11) (3/4").
