A pair of Egyptian bronze figures of Osiris, Late Period, c. 664 - 332 BC, each mummiform and standing on integral base, mummiform, wearing Atef crown with false beard, arms folded at chest and holding a crook and flail; suspension loops at back. H: 2 1/2 in (6.4 cm) and 3 5/8 in (9.2 cm). Both with heavy encrustation. Ex collection of George and Dora Mathues, Philadelphia, PA, acquired in the 1950's - 60's.
