A large Near Eastern bronze dagger, c. 1200 - 800 BC, the slender blade tapered with narrow rounded midrib and rounded shoulder, the handle without guard and with a flared pommel, the edges flanged for inlay in another material. L: 16 1/8 in (40.9 cm). Well-preserved with a nice mottled green patina. Ex Essex, UK private collection.
