Lot 0022

In the tintype with sword, he is pictured wearing his saber belt and holding the saber across his body in his right hand. A prominent scar is visible in both images on his left cheek. Both housed in full pressed paper cases.

Provenance: Charles A. and Frances Swedlund Collection of Early Photography

Condition

Hinges of both cases in tact. Scratching and spotting visible in sword tintype.
