Tom Wesselmann (American 1931 - 2004) original lithograph [Red Stocking Nude.) Pencil signed and numbered "Wesselmann 57/100" lower right. Measures 31.5" x 18" image size, 38.5" x 26" sheet size. This lithograph has been professionally cleaned recently. There is one small stain in the lower center, and there are a few light and scattered stains in the margins. Also, the signature and numbering, while visible, are slightly faded from the cleaning. There are two blind stamps in the lower left. The left stamp is an oval app. 2.5cm wide and has “SCREENED IMAGES” stamped in the oval. The stamp to the right of the other one, is also an oval, 3.75cm wide, and has the words “INTERNATIONAL IMAGES” stamped inside. It is unframed, loose and not glued or mounted. MATERIALS UPDATE: Silkscreen in color on museum board and not mounted after-market in our opinion. This print is mounted on board and the blind stamps as well as the number “54”in pencil lower left can be seen on verso leading us to believe that this is how it was issued. Provenance: Amity Art Foundation, Inc. collection. We ship most items in this auction in house and gladly combine shipping if possible of multiple items.
