A GROUP OF 22 SILVER TASTEVIN, 19TH & 20TH CENTURY. Comprising a variety of traditional shapes and decorative motifs and including examples from a variety of countries and time periods (mostly French and English), circa 1850-1920 and some later. Some incorporating coins such as a French silver 1786 ECU, a Spanish silver Reales dated 1770, a Spanish 8 Reales dated 1791, an 1850 dated French 5 Francs and another. Together with four silver-plated examples (two with chains) and an English silver Edward V motif spoon. Greatest measurement 5.5 inches (14 cm). Approximate weight of silver, 50 troy ounces.
