AN AUSTRIAN SILVER TEA SERVICE, JOSEF CARL KLINKOSCH, C. 1870. Comprising three individual pieces, a teapot, creamer, and sugar bowl. Each resting on a stepped flared ring foot with polished ovoid bodies, the teapot with carved handle and finial atop hinged lid, and the creamer with similar carved handle. Each piece with maker's mark for Josef Carl Klinksoch (J.C.K.), town mark of Vienna circa 1870 and .800 fineness. The teapot height 5 inches (12.8 cm), width 8.5 inches (21 cm). Total weight of all three pieces combined 21.2 troy ounces.

Josef Carl Ritter von Klinkosch was a well-known Viennese silversmith and purveyor to the court.
