The 52 mm silver case is English hall marked as well as the continental 925 mark. It was presented to J.K Middleton who won the Manchester Wheeler's '50' cycle race in 1927. The Movement is a complex piece of art. It is Swiss made with no maker on the back. It has a chronograph stopwatch with column wheel selection controlled by the pendent pusher but also has a secondary seconds hand that can independently be controlled by the second pusher at 11 o clock. The painted dial is white with roman numeral black hour markers and sub seconds at 6 o clock with chronograph minute recorder at 12. A splendid example of horological engineering with cycling history.
