Details: This highly unusual relief monoprint by Karl Mann comes from the collection of noted artist and frame designer Robert Kulicke. Mann, best known for his collage work, caught a fish, inked it, and pressed it onto paper to create this one-of-a-kind experimental work. The artwork was signed, dated, and inscribed in pencil lower left and gifted to Stella Voichick, Kulicke's mother-in-law; family lore has it that Stella cooked the fish for dinner that evening.
Measurements for the frame are approximately 25." X 9.75"
Condition / Notes: This monoprint is in good condition with strong colors occasional mild toning. The Kulicke wood frame is intact and attractive with minor indications of age and wear, including minor dents.
