Collection of Three Chinese Export Porcelain Teapots
18th century, including a "marriage" teapot with a pair of initials for husband and wife, holding hands beneath a crown, signifying a European royal family, with a famille rose diapered border, a teapot decorated with baskets of flowers and another decorated with sprigs of famille rose flowers.
h. 6" to 6-1/2", w. 8-1/4" to 8-3/4", d. 4-1/2" to 4-3/4"
On the "marriage" teapot, there is a well-integrated professional repair to the handle and to the side
(where handle attaches). On the teapot with the basket of flowers, a small chip of the rim of the lid has
been repaired (re-glued). On the teapot with the sprigs of flowers, the handle has been repaired. All three
teapots exhibit some chips to the inside of their rims, their lid rims and/or foot rims, as are to be expected
with age, material and utilitarian use. Structurally sound and in overall good "estate" condition.
