Provincial Louis XV-Style Polychromed Oak Armoire
19th century, the molded cornice over a frieze adorned with a carved floral basket, vines and flora, the pair of doors with a pair of shaped panels and like carving, raised on cabriole legs with French toes, the interior doors, four shelves, sides and part of the back now lined in fabric.

In overall good condition. The oak has been over-painted sometime in the past generation or so, and
now exhibits normal mars, rubbing and wear. Beneath the finish are normal dings, abrasions and
The doors open and close freely. A lock is present; a key is not.
The interior is fitted with three shelves, one of which supports a medial drawer. The interior is padded and
upholstered. There are tears and rips to the upholstery in the back of the case.
The case is sturdy, with no movement detected at the glue joints.
