matte-glazed vase, 1920, decorated by Sadie Irvine with live oaks, moss and moon in yellow, blue and green underglaze, base marked with Newcomb cipher, decorator's mark, Joseph Meyer's potter mark, registration no. "LG51" and shape no. "49".

Provenance: Estate of Richard Anthony Goula, proceeds to benefit the Thistlewood Foundation, Lafayette, Louisiana.

Condition

In overall very good condition with no notable losses, cracks or repairs. There is a tiny "flea bite" chip to the bottom of the foot rim. Inside of vase exhibits some light surface soiling.
