NATIVE AMERICAN, NORTH DAKOTA, ARIKARA TRIBE, BEADED RAWHIDE VEST, MOCCASINS, GLOVES AND WRIST CUFFS, C19TH C, 9 PCS.:Rawhide beaded clothing of the Native American, Arikara Tribe from the North Dakota, Fort Berthold reservation. Includes a vest with multi-colored beads in the form of flowers. The vest has a 41" chest measurement, and the length from the neck to the hem is 21 1/2". A pair of gloves with flowers, a pair of wrist cuffs with beaded monogram 'R O G'. horse shoes and flowers on a white beaded background. Two pair of moccasins with beaded geometric designs on the insteps. The consignor's grandparents were owners of the reservation general store at Fort Berthold, North Dakota.

Condition

Good condition for their age, GA. There is a 1"x1" section of beading missing on one moccasin. The vest has a 3" repair at the back and a 1" repair to the hem at the back.
