1804 AMERICANA 1ed Jedidiah Morse History of New England Plymouth Pilgrims Indians Quakers
Jedidiah Morse was an important and prominent geographer known for his American textbooks, books that earned him the name ‘father of American geography.’ While he is most famously remembered for books such as ‘American Universal Geography’ and ‘Gazetteer’, he did produce a number of lesser-known works including sermon collections, an annals of the American Revolution, and ‘A Compendious history of New England’.
